OIT Opens NAIA Tournament at COI

Oregon Tech SoftballCALDWELL, IDAHO – The Oregon Tech softball team finished 3rd in the the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament after winning the regular season title. The bumpy finish left the Owls’ NAIA Softball National Championships in doubt. In the end, the committee selected OIT for its third appearance in the last four years (the Owls won the National Championship in 2011).

OIT will open the tournament playing a familiar foe. The Owls will take on College of Idaho on the Yotes’ home field. The first game will begin Monday at 12:00 PT.

All of Oregon Tech games will be broadcast on the radio locally in the Klamath Basin on ESPN 93.3 FM and AM 960 and will also be available online for free at http://rssplayer.crystalmedianetworks.com/player/radio/kladam
